(±)-Perillaldehyde has an antidepressant effect on stress-induced depression-like model mice by regulating the olfactory nervous system. (±)-Perillaldehyde has anti-inflammatory activity, induces JNK activation in RAW264.7 cells, and inhibits the expression of TNF-α with an IC50 of 171.7 μM.
