Bioactivity SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9, an aldehyde, is a broad-spectrum cyclopropane-based inhibitor of coronavirus 3C-like proteases (3CLpro). SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9 inhibits SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV 3CLpro with IC50 values of 140 nM, 350 nM, 120 nM, respectively. SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro-IN-9 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication with an IC50 value of 11 nM[1].
