Bioactivity Recombinant endoglycoceramidase I (rEGCase I) is a glycosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the β-glycosidic linkage between oligosaccharides and ceramides. Recombinant endoglycoceramidase I catalyzes a transglycosylation reaction, which transfers the sugar moiety of glycosphingolipids (GSLs) to the primary hydroxyl group of several 1-alkanols[1].
Transport Room temperature in continental US; may vary elsewhere.
