Bioactivity Prolylserine, a dipeptide, is an inhibitor of melanogenesis production in Mel-Ab cells. Prolylserine decreases expression of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) and tyrosinase, induces phorphosylation of ERK, but not cAMP response element binding protein (CREB)[1].
