Bioactivity Pibrozelesin (KW 2189 free base) is the derivative of antibiotic Duocarmycin B2. Pibrozelesin exhibits antitumor activity, inhibits proliferation of cell H69 with an IC50 of 1.9 μM. Pibrozelesin induces the DNA strand breaks upon activation via carboxyl esterase[1].
