Bioactivity | NCOA4-9a inhibits ferroptosis by reducing the amount of bioavailable intracellular ferrous iron through disrupting the nuclear receptor coactivator 4 (NCOA4)−FTH1 (Ferritin) protein−protein interaction. NCOA4-9a inhibits Erastin (HY-15763)-induced ferroptosis, with EC50 of 0.29 μM in HT22 cells[1]. |
