Bioactivity | Moronic acid, a triterpenoid, is an anti-HIV agent. Moronic acid inhibits viral replication with an EC50 value <1 μg/mL, and shows cytotoxicity in H9 lymphocytes with an IC50 value of 18.6 μg/mL. Moronic acid can be isolated from Brazilian propolis[1]. |
