Bioactivity MenA IN-1 is an effective inhibitor of 1,4-dihydroxy-2-naphthoate isoprenyltransferase (MenA) from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) with an IC50 value of 13 µM and an GIC50 value of 8 µM. MenA IN-1 can be used to curb the continuous spread of tuberculosis[1].
