Lascufloxacin hydrochloride shows the most potent activity against Gram-positive bacteria compared to other tested quinolones. Lascufloxacin hydrochloride demonstrates incomplete cross-resistance against existing quinolone-resistant strains. Lascufloxacin hydrochloride has potent inhibitory activity against both wild-type and mutated target enzymes.
