Bioactivity Jobosic acid, a saturated fatty acid, is a selective SARS-CoV-2 inhibitor. Jobosic acid inhibits Mpro and spike-RBD/ACE-2 interaction with IC50 values of 7.5 μg/mL and 3 μg/mL, respectively. Jobosic acid shows viral entry inhibition for the omicron SARS-CoV-2 variant[1].
