Bioactivity | Insecticidal agent 9 (Compound I-17) is an insecticide with good insecticidal activity. Insecticidal agent 9 has LC50 values of 93.32 mg/L and 114.79 mg/L against Plutella xylostella and Ostrinia furnacalis respectively, and exhibits a mortality rate of up to 86.1% against Spodoptera frugiperda at a concentration of 500 mg/L. I-17 can act simultaneously on the ecdysone receptor (EcR) and three chitinases (OfChtI, OfChtII, and OfChi-h), demonstrating good binding activity (to EcR) and inhibitory rates (to the three chitinases). Insecticidal agent 9 can be used in research for pest management[1]. |
