Bioactivity Human Factor VIIa is a vitamin K-dependent serine protease that is involved in the blood coagulation process. Human Factor VIIa activates Factor X, which causes the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin and the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin, leading to the formation of blood clots. Human Factor VIIa exhibits the potential to ameliorate Hemophilia[1].
