Bioactivity Frunexian (EP-7041) is a selective and potent inhibitor of coagulation factor XI/activated factor XI, targeting to factor XIa. Frunexian exhibits antithrombotic activity, with no bleeding liability in rat mesenteric arterial puncture model. Frunexian can be used in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) research[1].
