Bioactivity Dextran Methacryloyl (DexMA) is a methacryloyl dextran that converts into cell matrix gels. Dextran Methacryloyl formed gels that had no cytotoxic effects on fibroblasts, but cells adhered only inefficiently in long-term experiments[1].
