Bioactivity Dexloxiglumide is a selective cholecystokinin type A (CCKA) receptor antagonist[1]. Dexloxiglumide, the active enantiomer of Loxiglumide, inhibits smooth muscle cell contractions induced by cholecystokinin-octapeptide (CCK-8)[2].
