Bioactivity 1,2-Dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate sodium salt (18:1 PA) is an anionic lipid that can be used to prepare liposomes, micelles and artificial membranes[1][2].
Invitro 1,2-Dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate, sodium salt (DOPA) can be used to prepare Zol-Ca complex nanoparticle formulations to improve the delivery of Zol in mouse tumor models and enhance its distribution[1]. 1,2-Dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate, sodium salt (DOPA) can be used in combination with a fluorescent dye, calcium phosphate, to enhance its adsorption on the bacterial surface, deliver fluorescent groups and target the biofilm of S. aureus to enhance its biofilm staining ability[2].
