Bioactivity o-3M3FBS is the negative control of m-3M3FBS. o-3M3FBS inhibits inward and outward currents via mechanisms independent of PLC acting in an antagonistic manner. In contrast, o-3M3FBS also causes an increase in [Ca2+]i in an agonistic manner[1].
In Vivo o-3M3FBS (10 μM) decreases AUC from 1058±189 g/min in control (in the presence of TTX) to 840±134 g/min. Higher concentration of o-3M3FBS (25 μM) further decreases AUC to 457±59 g/min[1].
