Bioactivity UB-165 fumarate is a nAChR agonist, being a full agonist of the α3β2 isoform and a partial agonist of the α4β2* isoform, with a Ki value of 0.27 nM for nicotine binding in rat brain[1].
Target Ki: 0.27 nM (nicotine in rat brain).
Invitro UB-165 stimulates [3H]-dopamine release from striatal synaptosomes with EC50 values of 2.4, 134, and 88 nM, and relative efficacies of 1:0.4:0.2, respectively[1].
