Bioactivity Tilifodiolide ((-)-Tilifodiolide) is a lactone, which can be isolated from the roots of Salvia tiliaefolia. Tilifodiolide has anti-inflammatory activity in mice model[1].
Invitro Tilifodiolide (200 mg/kg; single dose) shows anti-inflammatory activity in vivo in acetic acid induced-writhing mouse model[1].
