Thr-Leu can be hydrolyzed in the peritoneal cavity to generate constituent amino acids, thereby increasing the osmotic pressure of the dialysate. Thr-Leu can be used for the kinetic study of amino acid-based peritoneal dialysis fluids[1]. |
