Bioactivity Thalicminine is an alkaloid, which is found in Thalictrum species. Thalicminine can cause respiratory stimulation and a brief hypotensive effect on dogs. Thalicminine also prolongs the hypnotic effect of Chloral hydrate in mice[1].
