Bioactivity Tenuifolin is a triterpene isolated from Polygala tenuifolia Willd, has neuroprotective effects. Tenuifolin reduces Aβ secretion by inhibiting β-secretase. Tenuifolin improves learning and memory in aged mice by decreasing AChE activity and has the potential for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) treatment[1].
