Bioactivity Strictinin is a phenolic compound isolated from Pu'er teas. Strictinin has potential antiviral, antibacterial and laxative activities. Strictinin occurs by accelerating intestinal transit rather than enhancing gastric emptying, increasing food intake, or inducing diarrhea in rats.
