Bioactivity | Spirulina C-phycocyanin, a component of the light-harvesting phycobilisome complex in photosystem II, is a highly dominant chromoprotein in Spirulina. Spirulina C-phycocyanin can be detected by Raman spectral measurement. Spirulina C-phycocyanin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiplatelet, liver-protective and cholesterol-lowering effects[1][2]. |
