Bioactivity Sarasinoside A1 is a triterpenoid saponin that inhibits breast cancer cell invasion and induces re-epithelialization. Sarasinoside A1 activates Rap GTPase and promotes the relocalization of β-catenin and ZO-1 at cell-cell contact points. Sarasinoside A1 also increases intercellular space stability and the formation of cell-cell junctions.
