Bioactivity Sakurasosaponin is a saponin with potential anticancer activity that can be extracted from the root of Primula sieboldii. Sakurasosaponin can activate the AMPK pathway to induce cell autophagy and exert anti-NSCLC cell proliferation activity. Sakurasosaponin also has antifungal activity and significantly inhibits the growth of anthrax.
