Bioactivity SDGR is a Ser-Asp-Gly-Arg tetrapeptide sequence that effectively inhibits fibronectin-mediated cell attachment[1]
Invitro SDGR (0-500 μg/mL) can inhibit spreading of BHK cells or chick embryo fibroblasts on human spreading factor (vitronectin)-coated substrates and chick embryo fibroblasts are more sensitive to SDGR inhibition. Meanwhile, it can inhibit spreading of them on laminin(50 μg/mL)-coated substrates[1].
