Bioactivity | Propioxatin B is a tricyclic sesquiterpenoid compound isolated from the root of vetiver grass. It has anti-tuberculosis activity and inhibitory effects on a variety of drug-resistant mutants of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In computer simulation docking studies, it showed binding affinity with bacterial DNA gyrase and has a certain safety in vivo. |
