| Bioactivity | Probucol dithiobisphenol (DTBP) is the derivative of Probucol (HY-B0388). Probucol dithiobisphenol induces the production of heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), and exhibits antioxidant activity. Probucol dithiobisphenol inhibits atherosclerotic lesions in ApoE−/− mice aorta, promotes re-endothelialization of aorta and inhibits restenosis in rabbit arterial injury models. Probucol dithiobisphenol is orally active[1]. |
