Bioactivity Presqualene diphosphate is a precursor of squalene, which causes a decrease in the production of staphylococcin by producing squalene. Neisserial protein is a synthase (HpnD) of presqualene diphosphate (PSPP), which can produce presqualene diphosphate to stabilize arginine and reduce the biosynthesis rate of dehydrosqualene[1].
