Bioactivity Polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid (Poly(I:C)) is a synthetic double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), which is a Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) agonist. Polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid presents in some viruses, and is therefore commonly used to model the actions of extracellular dsRNA.
