Bioactivity | Pap12-6 is a 12-mer peptide derived from the antimicrobial peptide Papiliocin of yellow butterfly larva. Pap12-6 kills bacteria by penetrating and disrupting their membranes, exhibiting strong antibacterial activity. Pap12-6 exerts its anti-inflammatory effects through the TLR4-mediated NF-κB signaling pathway[1]. |
