Bioactivity Palmostatin B is an Acyl protein thioesterase 1 and 2 (APT-1, APT-2) inhibitor. Palmostatin B reduces cell viability in a panel of NRAS mutant melanoma cell lines. Palmostatin B inhibits Ras depalmitoylation in cells[1][2].
