Bioactivity Nicosulfuron-d6 is the deuterium labeled Nicosulfuron[1]. Nicosulfuron is a selective herbicide belonging to the sulfonylurea family. Nicosulfuron is commonly used as a post-emergence herbicide to protect maize crops from weeds. Nicosulfuron inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme activity[2].
Invitro Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1].
