Bioactivity Navtemadlin-d7 is the deuterium labeled Navtemadlin. Navtemadlin (AMG 232) is a potent, selective and orally available inhibitor of p53-MDM2 interaction, with an IC50 of 0.6 nM. Navtemadlin binds to MDM2 with a Kd of 0.045 nM[1][2].
Invitro Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1].
