Bioactivity N-Desethyl Sunitinib-d5 is the deuterium labeled N-Desethyl Sunitinib. N-Desethyl Sunitinib (SU-12662) is a metabolite of sunitinib. Sunitinib is a potent, ATP-competitive VEGFR, PDGFRβ and KIT inhibitor with Ki values of 2, 9, 17, 8 and 4 nM for VEGFR -1, -2, -3, PDGFRβ and KIT, respectively[1].
Invitro Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs[1].
