Bioactivity | MorHap is a heroin hapten. MorHap conjugated to tetanus toxoid (TT), palm-CV2, and to monophosphoryl lipid A (MPLA)-containing liposomes partially blocks heroin-induced analgesia and hyperlocomotion in mice. MorHap designed conjugates also significantly inhibits HIV-1 binding to α4β7 receptors. MorHap can be used in research to develop vaccines related to heroin addiction and HIV-1 infection[1]. |
