Bioactivity Miravirsen sodium is a potent miR-122 inhibitor and inhibits the biogenesis of miR-122. Miravirsen sodium is a 15-nucleotide locked nucleic acid-modified phosphorothioate antisense oligonucleotide. Miravirsen sodium inhibits HCV replication, and can be used in research of HCV infection[1][2].
