Bioactivity Mead ethanolamide is an endogenous cannabinoid receptor agonist with Kd values of 753 nM and 1810 nM against CB1 and CB2, respectively[1].
Invitro Mead ethanolamide inhibits cAMP accumulation in CHO-hCB1 and CHO-hCB2 cells with IC50s of 431 nM and 156 nM, respectively[1].Mead ethanolamide (1-1000 nM) inhibits N-type calcium currents in a concentration-dependent manner. Inhibition was halfmaximal at a Mead ethanolamide concentration of 124 ± 19 nM[1].
