Bioactivity | Mal-VC-PAB-(N-Me-amide-C3)-ADU-S100 triethylamine is an immune stimulator antibody conjugate (ISAC) comprising an anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) antibody, a STING agonist (ADU-S100) and a linker. Mal-VC-PAB-(N-Me-amide-C3)-ADU-S100 triethylamine can be uesd for cancer research (WO2018200812A1; example 5)[1]. |
Invitro | STING (stimulator of interferon genes) is an endoplasmic reticulum adaptor that facilitates innate immune signaling. It was reported that STING comprises four putative transmembrane regions, predominantly resides in the endoplasmic reticulum and is able to activate NF-kB, STAT6, and IRF3 transcription pathways to induce expression of type I interferon (e.g., IFN-a and IFN-β) and exert a potent anti-viral state following expression. In contrast, loss of STING rendered murine embryonic fibroblasts extremely susceptible to negative stranded virus infection, including vesicular stomatitis virus[1]. |
