Bioactivity | Maculosidine is a furoquinoline alkaloid that can be isolated from Balfourodendron riedelianum. Maculosidine inhibits ATP synthesis, basal, phosphorylating and uncoupled electron transport in plants. Maculosidine inhibits Hill reaction on spinach chloroplasts[1]. |
