Bioactivity Lotus tetragonolobus lectin (LTL) is a plant lectin, that can be extracted from Lotus tetragonolobus. Lotus tetragonolobus lectin recognizes and binds to fucose containing sugar structures, and can be used to study cell surface receptor recognition and cell adhesion processes. Lotus tetragonolobus lectin inhibits macrophage migration, and is involved in immunomodulatory processes[1].
