Bioactivity | Lipase, Porcine Pancreas (PPL) is a porcine pancreas lipase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of mustard oil. The catalytic activity of Lipase, Porcine Pancreas may also be affected by surfactants such as Span, Tween and Triton. For example, 0.02 M sorbose monooleate (Span 80), 0.01 M Tween 80, and 0.01 M Triton X-100 inhibited Lipase and Porcine Pancreas free lipase catalytic rates to 75%, 84%, and 93% respectively[1]. |
