Bioactivity Linderaspirone A is a natural compound that can be isolated from the roots of Lindera aggregate. Linderaspirone A shows significant inhibitory effects on the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2),TNF-α, and IL-6 [1][2].
Invitro Linderaspirone A also inhibits the expression of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which are pro-inflammatory proteins, and the activation of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) [2].
