Bioactivity | Leucomycin A4 is a macrolide antibiotic that can be extracted from S. kitasatoensis. Leucomycin A4 inhibits a variety of bacteria, including S. aureus, B. subtilis, C. diphtheriae, N. gonorrhoeae, and H. influenzae (MICs = 0.15, 1.25, 0.15, 0.6, and 0.15 µg/ml, respectively)[1]. |
