Bioactivity | Lepadin H is a marine alkaloid and ferroptosis inducer. Lepadin H exhibits significant cytotoxicity, promotes p53 expression, increases ROS production and lipid peroxidation, decreases SLC7A11 and GPX4 levels, and upregulates ACSL4 expression. Lepadin H induces ferroptosis through the p53-SLC7A11-GPX4 pathway[1]. |
