Bioactivity Lecozotan (SRA-333) hydrochloride is an orally active and selective antagonist of 5-HT1A with a Ki of 4.5 nM for cloned human 5-HT1A receptor. Lecozotan hydrochloride enhances the stimulated release of glutamate and acetylcholine in the hippocampus and possesses cognitive-enhancing properties. Lecozotan hydrochloride has the potential for mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease (AD) research[1][2].
