Bioactivity | JYQ-164 is a small molecule inhibitor of Parkinson's disease protein 7 (PARK7/DJ-1) in humans. JYQ-164 works by covalently and selectively targeting Cys106, a key residue of PARK7 (IC50=21 nM). The high inhibitory effect of JYQ-164 on PARK7 is 5 times more potent than the previously reported inhibitor JYQ-88. JYQ-164 can be used in Parkinson's disease and cancer research[1]. |
