Bioactivity Horminone is an abietan diterpene quinone that can be isolated from Labiatae family. Horminone increases of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) serum levels in vivo. Horminone inhibits the growth of Trypanosoma cruzi and shows antibacterial activity[1].
