Bioactivity Heparastatin is a heparanase inhibitor.
Target heparanase.
Invitro Addition of 100 μM of Heparastatin (SF4) completely inhibits the enzyme activity of heparanase at a concentration of 0.15 μg/mL in an in vitro degradation assay. Addition of Heparastatin during the transition process does not affect the phenotypic change of TGF-β-treated cells[2].
